Things were finally looking up for Olive, she got promoted and she handed in a few chapters of her book to her publishers. Ken has been hiding away in his room and only comes out to eat and do homework. Olive hadn't noticed how much he had grown and knew soon he would be a young adult, she didn't even know if he had a girlfriend or liked anyone.
It was time for Savahanna to age up to Adult, this should have been a happy moment and she enjoyed the fact that her son was there to celebrate with her but there was no one there to hold her.
Jasper cheered her on and now she was in the next stages of her life. With no husband and a boyfriend she never sees things were not looking too well for her.
The girls came home to find that their parents were not home, this was strange since at least one of them were always home.
When Nicholas saw Amelio he couldn't believe his eyes, he heard he was in some kind of accident but this was crazy. Amelio was distraught, he asked Nicholas what he should say to Gizelle but Nicholas couldn't come up with anything that would make sense.
The day crawled by slowly, and Amelio attempted to live his life as normally as possible. Ken was only too happy to have someone who looked just as different as he felt.
It was Olive's last day in this degrading uniform, she spent just a few more hours on her book before she went to bed. She hadn't spoken to her parents in awhile but heard that her father had gotten demoted. She wasn't sure of the details but was sure he would never tell her why.
No one told her what had happened and when she called the hospital she was told he had been released a long time ago. So where was he, she tried to keep herself busy but the waiting was killing her.
All she could do was wait, she was going to sit right here till he came through the door. She wasn't sure what to expect and didn't know why he didn't call her, all she could do was wait.
