The two love birds woke up in a great mood, Olive had landed a contract to write the bio of a very famous man, and Nicholas has been receiving a lot of praise for his signature dishes.
But things were not going to be so wonderful for Amelio, he had been avoiding Gizelle and she finally got a hold of him on the phone. She was yelling and screaming warning him that she was on her way home and he better be there when she arrived.
When she saw the man she loved she was speechless, at first she thought it was a guest and was about to ask him to leave, but then she looked in his eyes and realized it was Amelio.
Amelio tried to explain, he tried to make her realize that it was still him and that he still loved her and wanted a life together. When she wouldn't say anything he continued to ramble on saying he knows he hasn't been perfect and that he shouldn't have made those advances at Olive but he was hurt...
Gizelle stopped him in his tracks, she swore she just heard he made a pass at her sister, she asked him to repeat that last part. Amelio did not want to, instead he tried to reassure her that it was a mistake.
But there was a lesson to be learned here, Gizelle did not take kindly to him vanishing and then not letting her know how he was or what happened when they called with that horrible news. And that it was not cool that he made her wait and worry then tell her that he has the hots for her sister and use her rejecting him as an excuse! Somehow the weird colour never came up.
And while all this drama was going on at home, Nicholas had plans for the love of his life. He was finally able to afford the ring that she wanted. He remembered when they met she had pointed it out in a window downtown. He had the jeweler custom make the setting and he searched for the stone himself and had it carved in the shape of the one she saw in the window.
He felt good about this moment..this was it, his heart was racing all she had to do was say yes.
