Amelio was quite nervous, he was still a bit unsure if this was the right thing to do. He knew he loved Gizelle but did she feel the same way. Whenever he got nervous he would eat apples, he found the crunching noise distracting. He made up his mind he was going to do it.
Olive was making some other decisions of her own, she thought that this was what she wanted but now she wasn't sure. She waited outside until her sister arrived, she missed her and just wanted someone to talk to.
During brunch Gizelle couldn't help but notice how distracted Olive was, she started to become concerned. After several attempts to get the truth out of her she finally broke down, it seems that the child Vanessa was carrying was infact Nicholas's. Gizelle couldn't believe it, how, she thought but Olive had no answers just the letter she found in his jacket saying the baby was his.
Later that night Amelio called the love of his life and asked her to meet him at the gardens, he was sure this would be the perfect place to ask her to marry him.
Gizelle found Amelio standing by the old bell she use to come here with her mother a lot and couldn't help but feel a bit sentimental.
Amelio got down on one knee and started to sing....

Who knew he could sing! Not I and apparently not Gizelle she was so floored she just leaped into his arms.
This had to be the best moment of her life, nothing this wonderful could happen to just one person. She looked at the ring, and where she was, and at Amelio...
She took him into her arms, and whispered "if you break my heart I'll kill you". Amelio held her tighter and asked if that was a yes.
Gizelle had a surprise of her own as she serenaded Amelio with a song she had been working on in the studio. She had a beautiful voice, Amelio loved to hear her sing and couldn't wait to get her home.
